EPION Body Trainer and EPION Core Trainer is designed to deliver maximum results with the most efficient use of your time. Both programmes incorporate the revolutionary TESLA machine that uses Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) to safely stimulate muscles at an intense frequency—superseding any form of exercise.

If sweaty, heart-pumping workouts really aren’t your thing to whip your body into shape, this revolutionary alternative to regular exercise just might be. TESLA is a painless, non-invasive treatment that helps target fat loss, build muscle, and tone your body.

TESLA TECHNOLOGY

TESLA represents the newest frontier of body contouring that delivers high-intensity Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) to safely stimulate muscles at an intense frequency—superseding any form of exercise. Devised to tackle stubborn areas and to sculpt and enhance beyond what is achievable at the gym, a 30-minute session with the TESLA is equivalent to 1,500 sit-ups, as it triggers supramaximal contractions of up to 50,000 times.

During regular exercise, our muscle fibres relax between each nervous stimulus. TESLA, on the other hand, generates a high-intensity focused magnetic field that can stimulate our muscles at a high frequency. This facilitates an enhanced adrenaline release, which results in accelerated muscle building and fat burning in the targeted area. This technology can be used to target the abdomen, thighs, arms, and buttocks area, and is so comfortable and fuss-free you can even lie down for it.

There are two ways the magnetic stimulation can be delivered: through a chair, which you are seated comfortably on, or using TESLA handles that are placed on the targeted treatment area. The EPION Core trainer allows you to sit comfortably in the Tesla Chair while magnetic stimulation is delivered to strengthen your pelvic area and core muscles, producing an effect identical to that of Kegel exercises. Not only does it help to improve your posture, it also alleviates incontinence for post-pregnancy mothers and those who experience the symptoms.

FAQ

  • Who should avoid TESLA?

    Patients who are pregnant, suffering from cancer, or have pacemakers should avoid TESLA.

  • How soon can you see the benefits of the treatments?

    Patients may feel muscle soreness one to two days after treatment, similar to the muscle soreness you experience after a workout. Visible results vary, but most patients see visible improvements in their muscle definition after 10 treatments.

  • How often should I have TESLA?

    For maximum efficacy, we recommend two to three sessions weekly, with a rest period of at least two days between sessions.

  • How should I prepare for the treatment?

    There’s no special preparation you need to do prior to your session. Similar to working out, we recommend avoiding eating heavy meals at least two hours before the treatment. We also recommend you enjoy a high protein meal after treatment to help your body recover and build more muscle.

  • What happens during a treatment?

    Depending on the targeted area, you will either lie down on the treatment bed or sit in the treatment chair. Your muscles will then be contracted for about 30 minutes. This sensation is similar to the muscle contraction you experience when you work out.

  • Can TESLA be used to complement my workout regime?

    TESLA helps your muscles contract in a way that exercise is simply unable to achieve. These supramaximal contractions help to accelerate your muscle building process. By combining TESLA with a healthy diet and regular exercise, you will be able to achieve your desired results more quickly.
