What is the process like?

Before any CoolSculpting session, treatment areas are marked up using a standard CoolSculpting template to ensure accuracy. Gel pads are then applied to the treatment area before the CoolSculpting applicator is placed on the skin. The gel pads help to protect the skin and enhance patient comfort during the procedure so that a patient can relax and even catch up on rest or their favourite K-drama!
What does the treatment feel like?

As the cooling begins during the first few minutes you typically feel intense cold. This should soon dissipate. With some applicators, you’ll feel some pulling as suction is applied. After the treatment, you may feel some tingling as the area is massaged for approximately 2 minutes. Patients are usually able to return to normal activities following their appointment.

Is CoolSculpting effective?

During each CoolSculpting session, you can expect a reduction of approximately 20-27% of fat cells within the specific targeted areas. It’s important to understand that our body does not produce new fat cells after the age of five. Instead, when we gain weight, existing fat cells expand in size, and when we lose weight, they shrink. Hence, once fat cells are eliminated through CoolSculpting they are permanently removed from the body.
